Matthew 13:25-40

[25] But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
[26] But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
[27] So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
[28] He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
[29] But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
[30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
[31] Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
[32] Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
[33] Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
[34] All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
[35] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
[36] Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
[37] He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
[38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
[39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
[40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

37. А Он одговарајући рече им: Који сеје добро семе оно је Син човечији;
38. А њива је свет; а добро семе синови су царства, а кукољ синови су зла;
39. А непријатељ који га је посејао јесте ђаво; а жетва је последак овог века; а жетеоци су анђели.
40. Као што се дакле кукољ сабира, и огњем сажиже, тако ће бити на крају овог века.

Welcome to Christian site God-Bogoslovlje American~Serbian Christian site
Scriptures from the Bible clearly indicate that Jesus is coming to remove his body (church/believers) from the earth into heaven.   In John 14:2- 6, Jesus reveals that in his Father’s house are many mansions and he was going to prepare a place for us.   He also said that he will come again and receive us unto himself, that where he is, there would we be also.   Thomas didn’t know where Jesus was going and likewise didn’t know the way to get there.   Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”   Where is the father?   The answer is found in Acts 7:55 as Stephen was looking into “heaven”, and saw “Jesus” standing on the right hand of “God”, (his father).     Also Matthew 6:9, says “Our Father which art in heaven…”   In Hebrews 1:3, we see Jesus sitting on the right hand of the “Majesty on high”,   (his Father).   Philippians 3:20,21 states “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it maybe fashioned like unto his glorious body.   In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, the dead saints will rise first, then us living saints will join them to meet the Lord “in the air”.   This occasion is what has become known as the “rapture”, or “catching away’.   This is also expounded upon in 1 Corinthians 15:51,52 “Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump.   For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”   It’s very clear , that Jesus who is now in heaven, is coming back to take us into heaven.   When will this event occur?   2   Thessalonians 2:1-8 emphatically, declares that it will take place “before” the revelation of the antichrist.

In a basic outline, there is only three times in scripture when the antichrist can be revealed.   #1 when he confirms the covenant in Daniel 9:27.   #2 when he breaks the covenant in Daniel 9:27.   #3 when he exalts himself and sits in the temple of God in 2 Thessalonians 2: 4.   We’ll know the revelation of the antichrist in #1 if he confirms the covenant in a publicly open forum.   Again, we’ll know him in #2 when he attacks Jerusalem in the middle of the week (3 1/2 years) and stops the covenant that he confirmed in the beginning which allowed for the institution of the daily sacrifice and oblation.   Related scriptures of him breaking the covenant can be found in Daniel 9:27; Daniel 8:11,12; Joel 1:9; Daniel11:31,32.   A description of this attack on Jerusalem can be found in Obadiah 7-14.   The timing of this attack is based upon Revelation 12:13,14,6; which is mid-trib 3 1/2 years, when Satan is cast out of heaven.   Again, we’ll know him in #3, which by contextual application I believe to be his true revealing, is when he sits in the temple desiring to he worshipped as God.   2 Thessalonians 2:4 says, “Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”   See also Daniel 11:36,37.

The computation for the timing of the “abomination of desolation/image of the beast” can be derived from Daniel 12:11, “and from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.”   The daily sacrifice is taken away at 3 1/2 years into the tribulation period which is 1260 days, (see Daniel 9:27).   Thirty days later the abomination of desolation/image is set up at 1290 days.   (see also Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:14, Daniel 8:11,12, Daniel11:31, Revelation 13:14,15, 14:11, 19:20, 20:4.)     2 Thessalonians 2:4 demands that the revelation of the antichrist declared within the context of the chapter is when he sits in the temple of God.

In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, the apostle Paul is trying to differentiate between the “coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together unto him” (verse 1), and “the day of Christ” (the judgment of God’s wrath upon this earth (verse 2).   In verse 3 we read, that God’s wrath (day of Christ), won’t take place until there’s a falling away (apostasy), and the man of sin is revealed (antichrist).   Verse 4 explains the revelation of the antichrist as previously stated.   Verse 6 states that something is withholding his revelation.   Verse 7 states that “he” must first be removed before the antichrist is revealed.   That “he” by careful examination of this chapter, can only be the body of Christ found in (verse 1) “our gathering together unto him” (the rapture).

Many preachers point to Revelation 4:1 as being the rapture of the church and the close of the church age, but this is just an assumption on their part in believing that John represents the church.     Revelation 6:11 confirms that some of the church is still here even after the fifth seal, “fellow servants also and their brethren that should be killed as they were”.   These compromise two groups of Christians remaining on the earth, after the rapture.   The first group is “slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.” (Revelation 6:9), which happens during the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation period (Revelation 13:1-4). The second group is found in Revelation 13:7 “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them…”   They were beheaded as Revelation 20:4 states, “... and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”   Revelation 8:14   describes them as, “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Revelation 12:13,14 reveals that Satan is cast out of heaven unto the earth at mid-trib (3 ½ years), and in Revelation 13:5, the satanic “new world order” beast system continues for another 3½ years, and in verse 7, it makes war with the saints.   The first group of saints are martyred sometime within the first half of the 7 year tribulation period, and the second group after mid-trib.   In order to understand the first group, a disregard for prophetic scriptural interpretation must be addressed.   In Revelation 13:3, “...one of his heads as it were wounded to death has been misinterpreted as the antichrist being shot in his head and killed, and then raising from the dead.   If that’s the case, then what about his other six heads?   Revelation 13:1 identifies the beast as “having seven heads”.   As scripture interprets scripture, Revelation 17:8 says, “the seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth”.   In Revelation 17:18, the woman is described as “that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth”.   Some interpret the seven mountains as the seven hills of Rome, but, Revelation 13:1 states that the beast having seven heads rises “out of the sea” (not land).   Thus, the seven heads must be interpreted as the seven continents of Earth rising out of the sea.   We read, one head (continent) of the beast (new world order) is wounded to death, (Revelation 13:3),   and this wound is caused by a “sword”, (Revelation 13:14).   In Ephesians 6:17, we read, “...the Sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.”   It’s apparent that Christians in the North American continent will revolt against the satanic beast mentioned in Revelation 13:2,4, and will deal it a deadly wound by the Word of God, in rejecting the new world order’s beastly system, (economic and military).   This uprising will eventually be quenched by the satanic beast, resulting in the massacre of many Christians.   These martyred Christians are the first group “slain for the word of God”, in Revelation 6:9.

This martyrdom and persecution happens during the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation and it spills over into the second half as recorded in Revelation 13:5, “power was given unto him to continue forty and two months”, (another 3 1/2 years).   At that time a mouth (antichrist) comes into a predominant position in the beastly system, and he attempts to annihilate all of Christianity from the face of the earth.     Revelation 13:7 says “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them.”.   In Revelation 13:11, the formation of the last satanic global authority comes to fruition.   The two horns mentioned compromise the antichrist and the false prophet, joining together to establish an economic, military, and satanic religious order which shall encompass the whole earth.   It “...exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, (Revelation 13:12).   The first beast was economic as we see in Revelation 13:1 “ten crowns” (signifying wealth); and (military), Revelation 13:4, says “who is able to make war with him?”   The false prophet (possibly a pope or other religious leader), commands that an image (the abomination of desolation) be constructed to the beast, (the last empire before Jesus reigns).   It could be a computerized robotic statue, in that it speaks idolatrous commands for earth’s entire population to worship the last beast (satanic new world order/antichrist). The method of worship will be to show allegiance to the system by receiving a mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.   This identification will be mandatory in the right hand or in the forehead in order to buy or sell anything.   Everyone who receives the identification will “drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name,” (Revelation 14:9-1l).   All who refuse will be put to death by decapitation as Revelation 20:4 states.   This same group is described as “fellow servants also and their brethren” as found in Revelation 6:11.   Also describing the second group of martyrs, Revelation 7:14 says, “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”   Both groups of Christians that are found in Revelation 6:9-11, obviously have missed the rapture.

All these saints have been killed, but those in the rapture are changed, and caught up in the air, and taken to heaven without seeing death.   1 Thessalonians 4:17 says “then we which are “alive” and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”   Nevertheless, the majority of the body of Christ will have to put their faith to the ultimate test and go through the hour of temptation mentioned in Revelation 3:10.   That will be a time in which they’ll take the mark, or be beheaded. (don’t take the mark, name, or number).   Most of those Christians will be backsliders (like the five virgins found without oil when the bridegroom came in Matthew 25:8).   They’re not abiding in Christ (backsliders), and therefore they’ll be ashamed before him at his coming and won’t participate in the rapture.

1 John 2:28 says, “And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.”   The other five virgins who were ready for the bridegroom symbolize the body of Christ who are living in holiness and waiting for Jesus.   1 Peter 1:14 –16 says, “as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: but as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”   Hebrews 12:14   says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”.   1 John 3:2-3   says, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.   And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”   If you know that Jesus is coming, but you don’t know the exact time, you’ll be living a purified life, waiting for the bridegroom.   Contrary to popular teaching on this subject, Jesus is coming only for a bride without spot or wrinkle.   Ephesians 5:27 says, “that he might present it to himself a glorious church. not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”   As born again Christians through the precious Blood of the Lamb of God, with the indwelling Holy Spirit as our motivational source, we are to be anticipating the catching away of the true church, (the grand escape).   Titus 2:12 - 13, says “teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”     Hebrews 9:28 says, “so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”   Romans 8:23 says, “And not only they, but   ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”   1 Corinthians 1:7 says, “so that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:”   Some preach that believers will go through the whole tribulation period, but the scriptures say otherwise.   1 Thessalonians 5:9 says, “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”   1 Thessalonians 1:10 says, “and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.”   The sixth seal in Revelation 6:17 announces his wrath, “for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”   In the fifth seal, we see the two groups who have missed the rapture, but chronologically have escaped the wrath of God.   Others preach that God will protect them through the tribulation period, and they base this assumption on Revelation 12:14.   A contextual examination surrounding that particular scripture reveals that the woman is none other than Israeli Jews.   Matthew 24:37-25:30 are perfect scenarios for our present age, by contrasting those who are ready for the rapture against those who will miss it.   Likewise, in Matthew 24:45-51, we see an example of someone serving the Lord but ignorant of the times in which he lives.   This servant has no urgency, and is satiated with the world, and suffers the consequences of his actions.   “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?   Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.   Verily I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.   But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, and shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”   Christians who turn back from the Lord (backsliders), along with the unbelievers, are clothed in strange apparel, and both will be punished.   Zephaniah 1:6,8 says, “and them that are turned back from the Lord; and those that have not sought the Lord, nor inquired for him”.   “I will punish the princes, and the king’ s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.”   Matthew 22:11-13 says, “And when the king came into see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”   In Revelation 6:11, we see that the first group of martyred saints in the first half of the tribulation period didn’t have white robes, but were given them while waiting in heaven.   In Revelation 7:14, the second group of martyred saints which came out of the second half of the tribulation period, have washed “their robes, and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb”.   All these people will make it to the marriage supper of the Lamb, but apparently they’ll miss the rapture.   Revelation 19:7-8 says, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the lamb is come and his wife hath made herself ready.   And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”   Jude 23 says, “...others save with fear,   pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”   Only a select group of people will take part in the rapture.   In 1 Peter 1:19 we read, ”...a Lamb without blemish and without spot.”   Jesus is coming to take his pure virgin bride into heaven.   He’s not coming for a church married to sin.   2 Peter 3:14 says, “be found of him, in peace, without spot, and blameless.”   Ephesians 5:27 says, “that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

The time frame for the catching away is narrowing, as the final talks involving Jerusalem are in full swing.   The rapture of the bride of Christ is at hand.   Are you washed in the Blood of Jesus?   Are you living for God or the devil?   Is your robe white and pure, or spotted and stained with the world and its lusts?   Will you meet the Lord in the air, or will you be left behind?   Has an urgency of the gospel been committed unto you, or will you be ashamed at his coming?   James 5:8 says, “stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.”   Romans 13:11, “...knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”   I Corinthians 15:34 says, “Awake to righteousness and sin not.”   1 John 3:9 says, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin.”   1 John 3.8 says, “He that committeth sin is of the devil..”   Repent, repent, repent!!!

Revelation 3:10 “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.   The “hour of temptation” is specifically for the lukewarm Christian church who will be left behind and miss the rapture.   Their “hour of temptation” will be either to accept the “mark of the beast” in their right hand or forehead (Revelation 13:16,17), and be able to buy and sell to sustain their lives, and eventually receive the consequence of their action as stated in Revelation 14:9-11; or reject the “mark of the beast”.   All who reject it will be beheaded, nevertheless, they will attain spiritual salvation with Jesus instead of going to Hell, and eventually the Lake of Fire.

Luke 21:36, “ Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye maybe accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
                                      Rapture ready Bible verses;

1 Pet 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Heb 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

James 5:7,8 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Rom 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

2 Cor 4:14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

1 Tim 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

1 Pet 1:5-7 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

1 Cor 1:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Phil 3:20,21 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

2 Cor 5:1,2,3,4 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

1 John 3:2,3   Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Mat 25:10   And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Luke 12:40   Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Mat 24:42   Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
                                                Early Rapture Writings

Dadosh: 110 AD.   Section 16 :   Be ye watchful for your life, let not your lamps be extinguished nor your loins ungirded.   But be ye ready, for you know not in what hour your Lord comes.   For as lawlessness increases they shall hate one another and shall persecute and betray.   And then the world deceiver shall appear as the Son of God.   He shall work signs and wonders and the Earth shall be delivered into his hands, and he shall commit crimes such as never been seen since the world began.   Then shall created mankind come into a fire of testing, and many shall be offended and perish.   But those who have endured of the faith, shall be saved by the Christ.   Then shall the sign of truth appear.   First a sign of a rift in heaven, then the sign of a sound of a trumpet, and third, a resurrection of the dead.   But not of all,   But as it is said, the Lord will come and all His saints with Him.

Pseudo-Ephraem (c. 374-627) All the saints and elect of God are gathered together before the tribulation, which is to come, and are taken to the Lord, in order that they may not see at any time the confusion which overwhelms the world because of our sins. View High
